Summary

Splat does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Splat is a local utility that arranges windows on your Mac. It works entirely on your device.

What Splat does NOT do

What Splat stores locally

The following preferences are stored on your Mac (in ~/Library/Preferences/com.boiiboi.splat.plist and the macOS Login Items database) and never leave your device:

macOS permissions Splat asks for

Accessibility (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility) — required so Splat can move and resize the windows of your other apps when you trigger a shortcut. macOS requires explicit user grant for this. Splat reads no other information about other apps; it only sets window position and size.

Apple App Store privacy label

Because Splat collects no data, it is labeled “Data Not Collected” on the App Store.
